How to make a smoothie

After spending enough time tasting and making smoothies you will inevitably develop your own recipes and taste preferences. To learn how to make a smoothie you can either try one of our healthy smoothie recipes or you can simply build one yourself by following below steps:

Add Fruit

Choose at least 2 types of fruit – fresh or frozen. And for a super healthy smoothie- make it green, adding vegetables such as kale, spinach and arugula.

Thicken Up

Thicken your smoothie to get the right consistency and creaminess, while making it more nutritious.

You can thicken your smoothie with these ingredients. Nut butters, Yogurt, Cottage cheese, Kefir, Frozen yogurt, Ice cream, Ice, Coconut meat, Chia seeds, Psyllium seed husks, Oats, Beans

Flavor It

Boost flavor with sweeteners, spices, fruits and herbs. Spices such as cinnamon add a layer of sweetness, without adding extra calories.

Here you can use these ingredients – Honey, Stevia, Xylitol, Maple syrup, Dates, Figs, salt, Herbs like mint/basil, Vanilla/Almond extract, Nutmeg, Cinnamon.
